Support Characters (SPCs) are a special type of character that are not meant to be used for combat, but instead used for other non-combat tasks and jobs. At the time of writing (August, 2008) the only function an SPC can serve is to be a vendor in the player Markets. In the future, SPCs will be used for crafting, mining, and other non-combat activities.

At the time of this writing, a player can hire up to two SPCs. In the future, more SPC slots might be available for players with upgraded accounts.

[edit] Hiring SPCs

If you would like to hire SPCs, find an Employment Center in town. The Hopitan Employment Center is located South of East Hopitan. The first SPC will cost you 150 gold, and the second will cost 300 gold.
